LAST DAYS FOR ASRF RAFFLE ROADSTER

The 1932 Ford roadster being raffled by the ASRF Queensland has passed its final inspection and is ready to be handed over to one lucky winner. Constructed almost entirely in-house at Cahill’s Speed Shop, the drop-top deuce is built around a C&W Components body and packs a stout 383, which is sure to thrill. Australian Rod & Custom have stepped up to sponsor several major components, including the 9” diff, steering column and wheel, and engine dress-up gear, as have a selection of other supporters.

There are only 2,500 tickets available at $100 each, and they’re rolling out the door quickly since the car was officially unveiled in its complete form. The deuce comes mod-plated and registered in Queensland with 12 months ASRF concessional registration (LH10) and 12 months Shannons Insurance (T&C apply). The draw was to take place at the Regional Queensland Motoring Festival in Mackay, but it will now be held at Cahill’s workshops at 55 Christensen Rd, Stapylton on Saturday evening, August 31, at 8pm.
