ANDRA LAUNCHES $50,000 RISK MANAGEMENT GRANT SCHEME
The Australian National Drag Racing Association (ANDRA) has introduced a new Risk Management Grant Scheme to help venues with risk management projects.
The grants, ranging from $3,000 to $10,000, will assist in areas such as safety barriers, lighting, fire extinguishers, and more. To qualify, tracks must host drag and burnout events under ANDRA sanction.
“With increased financial pressures for all venues, it is becoming increasingly difficult for them to continue to invest in venue improvements,” ANDRA Chief Executive Officer, Tim McAvaney, said. “ANDRA recognises the difficulty faced by tracks but also recognises the importance for continual development in this crucial area of track safety and improvement for our members and the general public.”
Applications for the 2025 round of grants close on August 30, 2024.
