CRUZIN MAGAZINE #271
Speed – we all love it, just can’t always get away with it! Cruzin #271 is another special edition dedicated to speed, after all, it’s what hot rodding is all about. Who better to grace the cover than a second generation hot rodder that was raised around speed, Brett Williams and his ’38 Ford tudor. It’s a stunning car with a tonne of old school horsepower and very much a family affair.
Boners will dig Ted Wrigg’s 1934 Ford coupe, still in the build but already boasting a killer profile and a fuel-injected Buick Nailhead for power. From there we catapult to the 1950s to check out a humble 1956 Ford with one helluva Y-block lurking beneath the hood. We learn a little more about the Chevy Nova as we examine Scott Baldwin’s 1965 Chevy II, then launch into Hemi power with Adrian Romadini’s serious 1969 Dodge Charger. Ooops, almost forgot The Whistler, prolific west coast rodder Les Moran’s combatant in the Red Dust Revival!
We also take a quick peek at some nostalgia drags downunder, a longer look at the wild machines at the Mid Atlantic Nostalgia Nats in the USA, head to the UK for some old timey sprints, then head back to WA for a stroll through the Motor Museum of Western Australia.
We also check out the art works of Queenslander Andy Farrell, tune in to the latest release from Eddie Clendening, and check out some more Model Citizens. Phew!
