CRUZIN MAGAZINE

CRUZIN MAGAZINE #269

Spring is here and Cruzin #269 will certainly put a spring in your step. If stripped down, bare bones, hard driving Model A coupes are your thing, well we need say no more about our cover car, except that it’s owned by a fair dinkum American hot rod gal. Speaking of ladies choice, Mrs Bennetts had a major influence in the finer details of its page-mate, Rex Bennetts’ mild custom ’53 Ford.

But there’s lots more to see – and read – with Matt Olver’s mirror black 1934 Ford coupe that’s show class, supercharged and a whole lot more. Ron Mills has been a part of the Victorian hot rod scene almost since there was one and we take a closer look at his deuce coupe, along with a survivor ’57 Oldsmobile from the far west.

We’re suckers for flag drop drags and we check out Carralbyn in Queensland one more time, and then for something completely different, the Highway Havoc bike and skate event in WA. Finally, we tour Southside Stitching with Benny Stitch and discuss the finer points of a quality interior.

But it doesn’t end there – we got more readers’ custom creations in Model Citizens, check out the art of Australian designer Bernie Walsh, review The Barnstormers modern rockabilly CD, and even have a sample of salt racing news thanks to Aussie Norm.

Grab it at your local, or buy online at www.drivebuy.com.au and pay no postage within Australia.

It's only fair to share…
