CRUZIN MAGAZINE

CRUZIN MAGAZINE #266

A People’s Choice prize as voted by your peers is the greatest achievement possible, and John and Debbie bridge snagged it at the 25th Australian Street Rod Nationals with their 1933 Ford coupe which features on the cover of this issue. It’s special, all the more thanks to the effort that went into modifying the C&W Components coupe body, and the unique choice of a vintage big block Ford engine for power! Not to be outdone, we love the attitude of Shane Bourke’s 1969 Chevy pickup, and that it’s been a pet project between father and son.

And now for something completely different – you’ll be wowed by kiwi Aaron Grieve’s customised 1937 Hudson coupe, which blew us away on the recent trip to the island. We also check out an oversized ’32 Ford pickup with lots of tricks, and a classic 1950 Ford single spinner convertible with a hot rod twang.

The Detroit Autorama celebrated its 70th anniversary this year and we bring you some of that scene, and back on home soil we check out the Lake Mulwala Rod Run up close and personal. We also rap with the folks behind Willys Garage Australia.

But wait, there is, of course, more! Aussie Norm brings us the low down on this years DLRA Speedweek at Lake Gairdner, and PB takes a look at the art of local guy Adam James, then delves into the history behind US band, the Hijivers.

Grab it at your local, or buy online at www.drivebuy.com.au and pay no postage within Australia.

It's only fair to share…
