CRUZIN MAGAZINE #256 / SWEET PATINA #4
Oh my, more bruised bodies! Yes, we’ve managed to wrangle up another rag tag bunch of hot rods and customs for our Sweet Patina Special Edition #4!
Baddest of the bunch is Andrew Hodges 1957 Chevy 150-series – a working man’s car in its day, but now it spends it’s time with Hodgey behind the wheel, working his way through the Muncie Rockcrusher four speed! If you’re scratching your head about the Super Pumpkin title, you’ll just have to read his story.
Paul McMullin’s 1936 Ford pickup is a rare find indeed, and he’s finessed it with style, being careful not to interupt its heritage. Phil Pavicich’s has had more cool 1933/1934 Fords than most of us hot rods in our lifetime, and his all steel 1934 5W coupe might be the ultimate hot rod for many. We also take a spin with James Chisolm and his cool ’40 Ford pickup, and Cruzin team member gives us an in depth look on how he discovered and revived his barn find 1930 Ford roadster. Beau West’s 1957 Hudson Hornet rounds out our feature cars, a unique machine in more ways than one.
We go on the street in California on the Palos Verdos Hot Rod Run, then hit the beach for the Drag-ens Rattletrap #5!
Aussie Norm updates us on what’s happening with the Aussie salt scene, artist Candy Weil blows us away with her kooky pinup art, and we spotlight the music and latest album of US country blues musician, Ryan Bingham.
