STRAIGHT LINERS WELCOME AT THE BEND

Construction has begun on the A-grade drag strip at The Bend Motorsport Park in South Australia. The dragway will be dual-lane strip over 1 kilometre with quarter-mile concrete timed length and lighting for night events, and will feature auditorium-style terraced seating and spectator viewing mounds. There will be a 1000 square metre burnout pad and over three hectares of paddock and staging areas.

Already at The Bend is the second longest permanent racing circuit in the world, an international level karting facility, rallycross, four wheel drive and skid pan facilities, a 100 room four star hotel and a holiday park which is undergoing further upgrades.
