20TH CENTURY ANTIQUES UP AND OUT!

Shock news today as Simon from 20th Century Antiques and Collectables announced that the Coolangatta shop would be closing. The massive antiques centre has become a landmark of the region and is a popular shopping spot for lovers of 50s and 60s memorabilia, especially those who have attended the Wintersun Festival and Cooly Rocks On over the past three decades.

“It is with great sadness that we will have to be closing our doors this month due to some unforeseen circumstances,” confirmed Simon. “We appreciate everyone’s support over the last 20+ years and hopefully we will be back at a different location in the near future. We have welcomed people and friends from all over the world to visit 20th Century, and the stories we have heard have been the heart and soul of this business. We want to thank everyone for the great memories and support we have had over this time. Much love to all.”

Hundreds of fans have left messages of support online, confirming how much they have enjoyed the store over the years.

While the hunt is on for a new premises, selected items have been placed on sale. You’ll find them at 33 McLean Street Coolangatta, or follow them on Facebook at www.facebook.com/20thCenturyAntiques.
