CRUZIN MAGAZINE #230
Well haven’t we got a mixed bag for this edition of Cruzin mag! Tony ‘Webby’ Webster’s chopped and channeled 1936 Ford pickup is merely an appetizer, but a tasty one at that. Totally revamped from a bare skin brawler into a well mannered hot rod, there’s a truckload or tips and tricks to admire in this well crafted pickup.
The hot rods keep coming with a pro-built, candy apple red T bucket with all the right proportions, and a rare and refined 1941 Chevy coupe. We also take in WA’s annual Hot Rod and Street Machine Spectacular, check out a beautiful 1958 Chevy custom from the USA, and visit Gary Wright at Early Hot Rod Parts in Victoria.
Looking for speed? Then you must check out our coverage of the Aeroflow World Fuel Altered Challenge at Sydney Dragway. Such a historic event, with four nitro-fuelled altereds from the USA and one from New Zealand, rounding out a 10 car field. The vibe was sensational to say the least.
Last but not least we go Monkee-mad and take a look at Paul Adam’s Monkeemobile tribute. Love it or loathe it, you’ll grow to appreciate it when you know the story behind it, and might even learn a little music history along the way!
