Well know Aussie event announcer and drag racing identity, Milton Adey passed away last week, succumbing to increasing health problems. We best knew Milton as an enthusiastic supporter of the nostalgia drags, rarely missing an event and never holding back when it came to displaying his passion for the old days of the drags. He was there, the real deal, racing regularly at Surfers Paradise Raceway and serving time as an ANDRA steward in South East Queensland. He was always ready with amusing tale about the early days of racing or rodding.
With such a long history in the Australian car scene, we expect the who’s who of drag racing to be paying their respects this Thursday at his funeral. Details are as follows:
2.00pm, Thursday, July 15, 2010,
Albany Creek Crematorium,
Lakeside Chapel.
